Ciao! I’m Emma, a mum of two young children who are half Italian.
I have always loved languages and work as a translator when I’m not singing and rhyming! Join myself and Anna as we use loose parts play to encourage new language and sensory stimulation with our ever-changing ‘cestino dei tesori’ (treasure basket), forming memories and connections that cement new language. Make the most of this precious window in your child’s life, where alongside the fast assimilation of their mother-tongue, they are also more than capable of learning a second language.
I combine all this with traditional Italian songs and rhymes, as well as well-known English ones, reimagined in Italian, using hand-made props, bubbles, colourful scarves, a parachute, starry lights and more.
You can choose from two fantastic locations to join our classes, both with a soft play and café so you can make a morning of it:
