Clifton Hall Nursery School provides a stimulating early learning and childcare environment for children aged from 3–5 years. Children attend up to 5 days a week during term time from 8 am–3 pm, with wraparound care available until 5.30 pm.
The Nursery is situated in its own newly refurbished building with an extensive outdoor area, which children have access to throughout the day. At Clifton Hall, we aim to foster children’s curiosity, creativity, and resilience through play-based learning in a natural setting, offering a holistic and well-rounded educational experience.
We make full use of our outdoor classroom and 52 acres of school grounds during our Forest Kindergarten sessions, which are set in our extensive woodlands. These sessions are run by fully qualified Forest School leaders, who encourage children to connect with nature, engage in hands-on activities, and develop a greater appreciation for the outdoor world.
Each child at Clifton Hall is valued as an individual, and the highly qualified Nursery team take time to get to know the children and discover their own interests and talents. All of our spaces, both indoor and outdoor, are designed to make your child feel safe, secure, and encourage independence. Children have the opportunity to experience further specialist teaching in PE, music, modern foreign languages, and swimming (pre-school children).
