City and Little City Nursery Location
This modern, purpose-built nursery is located in the leafy Greenbank area, a quiet residential neighbourhood in south Edinburgh. 47 Greenbank Drive & 2A Rattray Drive, Edinburgh EH10
Both buildings are spacious and airy, with state-of-the-art facilities, generous gardens, and access to woodland. Staff are dedicated and highly qualified.

Little City Nursery (0-3 years)
Little City Nursery has a large sensory room, a CCTV-monitored sleep room, and four well-equipped playrooms. Each playroom includes areas for stories, crafts, construction, water/sand play, and a home corner. There are two well-equipped garden areas and a dedicated parents' room.
City Nursery (2.5 – 5 years)
At City Nursery, child-centered planning ensures that children explore and learn key concepts through play. There are arts and crafts, sensory play, and construction areas. Older children also have access to well-resourced maths and literacy areas. Outdoor facilities (a growing area, mud kitchen, water play, etc.) promote physical activity. Self-expression is encouraged through role-play, dress-up, storytelling, news sharing, songs, group games, and dance. Forest school and other outdoor trips and excursions take place several times a week.
Full-Time & Part-Time Places Available & Council Funded Places
To accommodate the diverse needs of modern families, the nursery offers flexibility with full-time and part-time contracts, as well as council-funded places. A limited number of term-time-only places are also available. Parents are kept updated on their child's learning and care via an online app.
